Having a parrot means constantly thinking of new ways to stimulate their inquisitive and highly intelligent minds.  It is a vital component to raising a happy, healthy parrot.  It is also one of the most expensive elements of becoming a parront.  Luckily, if you have even the slightest aptitude for crafting, creating environmental enrichment for your parrot is an easy and fun task.  Personally, I find creating “toys” for Papaya to be rewarding – both because I get to see her play and have fun, but also because I learn more about her as an individual.
